On occasion of an experimental installation in an agricultural biogas plant, BIOENERGY 2020+ conducted comprehensive analyses of overall performance and exhaust gas quality. In addition to carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide, the organic hydrocarbons, the carcinogenic formaldehyde and ammonia were subjected to standard measurement.
Conclusion: The CO and NOx values are only a fraction of the limit values in force in Austria, the other pollutants were well below the detection limit.
